Last, but CERTAINLY not least is the various companies part of the Livingston Bridal family. These include:
These are all the brain-children of one Roxanne Livingston, a rockstar in the Southern NM event planning world. I've been fortunate enough to know Roxanne for quite awhile - she took in this poor, senior in college desperate for an internship, helped coordinate and execute our wedding vision (including my dress, bridesmaid dresses, suits, invites, and more), and has been a great mentor and supporter during my journey as a small business owner. Here's a rundown on the Livingston Bridal fam: Livingston Bridal & EventsFormerly known as "Renee's Bridal", the business went through a rebrand at the beginning of 2020, along with moving into a new location in Mesilla. Roxanne and her team help brides, bridesmaids, and prom-bound teens choose the perfect look for their big event. Did you know that they keep a record of all their prom dresses sold each year and won't sell the same dress to more than one person at the same school?! Livingston Bridal can also take care of other aspects of your event! Invitations, save-the-dates, day-of coordinating, decor setup/breakdown, or full-on planning! I could brag ALL day about how awesome Roxanne and her team were on our wedding day. But instead, here are some pictures of how the Livingston Bridal team supported us on our big day! Want more info on Livingston Bridal Events? Check out their Facebook, website, or @livingstonbridalandevents on Instagram Mood by LivingstonWhen things started getting crazy in the spring (and, let's face it - started decimating the wedding industry in NM), Roxanne got to thinking of how her and the team could weather the storm. Cue Mood by Livingston - fashionable, women's clothing for different sizes and styles. Many of the clothing boutiques around here are western-based, which is all fine and dandy, but that's my style maybe 20% of the time. Mood carries various styles and fits so I've found several pieces that I LOVE just in the short time that they've been open. Mood operates in a pop-up fashion - every month or so they host a pop-up in their plaza and invite several business (including yours truly) to join them. We setup our tables and racks with all of our goodies and invite the community to come shop and support local. If you miss the pop-up but still in a shopping "mood" (see what I did there) you can always call them and schedule an appointment to shop - how classy and fun, right?! Of course, you can always shop online and they have gift cards available if you're not sure what to get someone.
Brides 'n' BaublesAlso part of the Livingston family is Brides 'n' Baubles - cute, personalized swag for a bride-to-be and the entire bridal party. Mugs, cosmetic bags, robes, sashes, you name it, can be personalized for the big day and all events involved. Follow Brides 'n' Baubles on Instagram @bridesnbaubles Shop Local NMLast, but again, not least, the latest brain-child - Shop Local NM. a non-profit site with the mission to promote small businesses in various communities across the Land of Enchantment. As of right now, Las Cruces/Mesilla area is only what's available. But as time goes by they will be adding small business information for communities across the state. Whatever you're looking to shop or service, you can look on Shop Local NM and find a small business to support while doing it.
Check them out on Facebook or the website.
